Looking for a house + curious stuff about HK
Its still so very confusing, but really exciting. Everyday we're looking for a house since we're staying at Brandon's place. I'm still jet-lagged so i'm super tired all day long ahah but I'm too excited to think about it!
Anyway, some curious stuff I noticed here: - they usually drink hot water instead of the cold one - when you buy something they give you the receipt holding it with two hands (and its like unkind if you take it using just one hand) - they don't put the number 4 ANYWHERE. Seriously, the number 4 is considered an unlucky number because is nearly homophonous to the word "death". Due to that, A LOT of buildings don't have a 4th floor. Some high-rise residential buildings omit all floor numbers with "4", like 4, 14, 24, 34 etc.. So weirrrd!!
