Capitol Hill Block Party 2014

This is our 5th Capitol Hill Block Party! It was my first time covering the event as Press and being able to bring in our DSLR camera, and I want to thank The Stranger for that!

Capitol Hill Block Party is a 3-day music festival uniquely in the urban core of Seattle, with major streets from 12th to Broadway blocked off. Nearby restaurants and bars are open for food and drinks, which is so much better than a typical limp pizza slice at other festivals. You can drink in the fenced off areas of city streets while listening to musical artists, like this year's Sol, Star Slinger, Chromeo, and A$AP Rocky to name a few...

Thanks Jameson VIP Party at Sole Repair Shop for free drinks and food all night! It's always such a fun time, as free-flowing whiskey implies, with a DJ and an escape from the heat.

Another year of good times with good friends and good music! Already looking forward to next year's CHBP!
