Barbie as Princess Alexa travels through a magical door, and realizes she now has magic. She meets a fairy and a mermaid named Nori and Romy who tell her their magic has been stolen by a princess named Malucia.Nori and Romy assume that Princess Alexa is there to save them. Malucia then captures a fairy to steal her magic. She tells the fairy that she knows where the Queen Unicorn is so she can follow her. The fairy goes back to the fairy and mermaid hideout and tells them that Malucia has the unicorn.When they go to get the unicorn first, Malucia attacks Alexa and takes the unicorn. Alexa goes to Malucia’s castle to defeat her and Malucia takes her powers, but Malucia’s wand breaks and Alexa gives everyone their magic back.
