Toxic-Free Shampoo Review + a GIVEAWAY!
So, I was pretty skeptical about using this toxic-free shampoo. It didn't have "thickening" or "volumizing" or any of those other words that mean "make your flat hair mutate into sexy-volumptious hair". You know the bottles of shampoo that get your hair hopes up and then after months of using them you realize they have been leading you on and don't actually work, like at all! Yea, I have some shampoo issues.
Anyway, this post is NOT to say that Healthy Home Company Shampoo is going to magically make your hair look like the magazine clipping you bring into your hairdresser and then she looks at you and laughs. No, but let me tell you what it does do...it makes your hair soft and healthy. Like really soft and you aren't poisoning yourself through your scalp with all of the horrible chemicals in regular shampoos.
I used to have a dry scalp problem that was super embarrassing. I was always concerned that people would think I had dandruff or other stuff. I would meticulously check my hair and make sure I didn't see any yucky dead dry skin. ugh, I hate even writing that statement. Anyway, after a few months of using this shampoo my dry scalp has continued to get better and better and better. I can't believe it and I'm so happy.
Full Disclosure - I also have stopped using other hair products as well, so no more hair spray or bottled dry shampoo - although I am trying out some homemade dry shampoos very soon because I miss it so much...I'm hoping that making it myself doesn't dry out my scalp again, I'll let you know.
