What’s the easiest way to decorate your home with flowers?
Recycle your jars and tins from last Saturday’s grocery shop! One of my most used vases was once a sauce bottle. If that’s not your cup of tea then hit up the OP shops where you can often find beautiful glassware and if you’re lucky a new tee too.

What are the easiest flowers to grow inside in pots?
Poppies are perfect as they thrive in poor, dry soil and love being left out in the sun. Forgot to water them? It doesn’t matter, they go wild on their own. Fact – each year they will set seed which will grow the following Summer, creating effortless drifts of pretty poppy colours.

Any tricks for keeping flowers looking good for longer over Summer?
Re-trim the stems before placing into your vase and make sure no leaves are submerged under water. This makes the water go funky quicker.

Your top tips for creating the perfect arrangement?
Pick flowers you love and colours that suit you. Less is more but crazy wild bouquets are also cool. Don’t try and be perfect.

Your favourite Summer flower and why?
I love Dahlias – they have the most detailed petals which come in all shapes and sizes.They also come in every kind of colour palette imaginable.

Any top tips for having fun with flowers over summer?
OF COURSE! Always have fun with flowers especially over Summer, I love to pick wild flowers or break off a few rose petals and place them in my ice trays before freezing. It’s easy and looks so pretty. Plus everyone will compliment you on your fantastic drink-making skills.
