Sharing Christ with Family this Christmas with Link Up

Sharing Christ with our families is a very important, but not always easy task. Christmastime is known for being a holiday that people attend church, though they don’t throughout the year. It is the perfect time to reach out to our unsaved family members to share Christ’s love for them.

Here are a few suggestions for sharing Christ’s love with your family this year.

Ideas for Sharing Christ with Family

1. Attend your kiddo’s church Christmas play

My kiddos have been in a church Christmas play for the last few years, and it was a wonderful way to encourage our family members to come to church.

2. Attend a church Christmas Eve service

A quiet evening service with candles and Christmas carols is always a warm and inviting event.

3. Invite them for Christmas morning at your home

Each Christmas morning we read the Christmas story prior to any other Christmas traditions in our home. Through the reading of His story on Christmas morning is a quiet way of reaching their hearts with Christ’s love.

While these may seem small, simple ways to encouraging sharing Christ with your family, I find that it is often in the small, simple things we do that we reach other’s hearts.

My prayer for you today is that as you sharing Christ with your family this year, that He would direct you to the best way to do so.

Never forget that our actions speak louder than our words. Do we act any differently than those we’re trying to reach? Do we exhibit a Christ like love, that they can see? A love that they want to be part of?

May God use us to reach those in our families that do not know Him. May our lives be a reflection of the love He has for all of us.
