Peek at My Week AND classroom tour

First off... here is a little classroom tour. Video next week (I hope).

Because sometimes the scissors need a time out.

This is our focus wall for this week.

Each student made a self portrait. I put them in frames from the dollar store. These will be an end-of-the-year gift.

Last week, I had written that we would start stations. In retrospect, I decided to just focus on teaching the stations as a whole group. We will launch stations this week. In this photo we are practicing our pocket chart stations (predictable sentences).

We are practicing our Writing Work Station.

We are practicing our Listening Station while turning the pages to the beep. It's sort of a big deal. For some, they have never done this before... assume NOTHING! Ha!

We also worked on classroom management routines (AKA: teacher sanity savers).
