Vacation

Matt and I spent the majority of last week down the shore (is calling it that just a Jersey thing?) and it was glorious. Days spent lounging on the beach with my feet in the sand, reading with the sound of waves crashing in the background is my happy place. Now it's Monday and we're forced to get back to "real life," which means waking up before 9 am and trading in our swimsuits and flip flops for more work-appropriate clothing.

Getting back into our normal routine will be tough, and I can't help but make it a little harder for myself by flipping through the pictures and videos I took on my phone. I have to say I'm loving the video feature on Instagram, I made a few that I saved without posting publicly and I already enjoy going back to watch the 15 second summaries of our carefree days.

Here are a few pictures I snapped during the week. The first was taken in the car when we were dropping Casey off for his own vacation at "Grandma & Grandpa's" wearing my beach hat, and the other three are self-explanatory.
