What does the length of your dress tell about you?

I've seen this photo floating around the net, especially on Facebook. I even came across some sites that included quizzes and some other shit that revolves around this issue.
What baffles me is how a lot of people seem to agree with this photo, or the results of the quizzes for that matter. Ever since I started puberty, a lot of people tell me that my clothes define what kind of a lady I am, how I want others (especially men) to treat me. They say that "men rape women who give them the reason to" or that "no girl gets hit on by sleazy men if she didn't give them a reason to" I even remember my grade school teacher telling us to dress properly if we want to gain respect. At that time, I thought I understood what she meant. I thought that wearing plunging necklines or see-through tops won't give me the respect that I deserve.
I swear skirts, mini skirts, tights, shorts, and basically anything else that feels comfortable to me. There were a couple of times when I got hit on by sleazy, horny men; and guess what? People say it's my fault. Can you believe that? I woke up one morning, wore a nice top and leather skirt with tights, and rode on a bus. Then, this guy sitting beside me just started feeling up my thighs and basically sexually harassed me. And what do ya know, I got told off for wearing that kind of skirt. A lot people whom I ranted to told me that it was my fault for "provoking" him in the first place. Excuse ME? I wore that because it look so freaking good on me. Pants make me look shorter so I compliment my figure by wearing a skirt; I don't wear it so that some random dude will just feel me up!
This entry may already seem like a rant but all I'm saying is that why do we let people judge us based on what we wear? Why can't I wear a leather skirt without people saying that I "asked for it". No, I didn't. I wore that skirt because it looks good on me, not because I'm letting every pervert on the street know that I'm okay with being sexually harassed.
So what does the length of your dress tell about you? I don't know, your fashion taste? The weather? The event for tonight? It can say a lot of things, but definitely not what defines you as a person. I just hope that people will get over this way of thinking so that a person like me can walk around the streets wearing a mini skirt without people thinking that I fucking "asked for it".
