Sketchbook Project 2014: Foxy

I recently completed and sent in my Sketchbook Project book. If you aren't familiar with the project, it is run by the Art House Co-op in Brooklyn New York, and involves them sending you out a sketchbook which you then complete over several months and sent back to them. All of the sketchbooks then go on a tour to venues around the world before going back to live in the Art House Library in Brooklyn. I've done the project every year. Last year I painted what I wore each day, in ten minutes or less. You can check it out on Pinterest: http://bit.ly/BPBSketchbookProject2013

This year, with all the travel, getting ready to move again, getting engaged etc. I really left it until the last minute to finish. Luckily they extended the deadline by a few days, so I quickly ripped out all the regular paper and rebound my book with high-quality watercolor paper (and less pages), picked a topic and started work!

I have a real thing for foxes, so I decided to fill my book with little watercolor paintings of foxes in different styles.

Click the image below to watch a short timelapse video of me painting it. :)

Here's a quick video look at the whole thing, do you have a favorite?

I also had a couple of requests, so I've put the paintings up for sale as prints in my Society6 store. Like this little guy:
