New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week is in full swing, so how could I resist checking out the Fall collections....and maybe painting one or two. This was inspired by the Peter Som collection, it's just gorgeous, I may have to paint a few more!

Do you get excited for Fashion Week, and if so do you have a favorite designer or collection so far?

I'll let you in on a little secret. I am not at all fashionable, I hate clothes shopping, despise it in fact. If I could wear sweat pants and old t-shirts all the time I probably would. But I love fashion, the design of it, the colors, the textures. I view each piece as a work of art, and it's certainly something I enjoy illustrating!
