Shades – I am reviewing two more shades from Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm range. Revlon Striking is a red with warm undertones. I like the color and its less darker and more wearable then Standout. Audacious on the other hand is a orange shade that appears neon on me.
Texture & Formula - Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm has a matte formula with velvety finish. Texture of both Striking & Audacious is creamy and smooth, though I find audacious a bit streaky, I mean it doesn’t apply smoothly in one go. I have worn both the shades without a lip balm and none of them made my lips uncomfortable. Striking leaves stain so its best to exfoliate your lips beforehand or wear it only when your lips are in perfect condition. The satiny finish of both Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm turns matte after half an hour.
Only downside is that once the formula wears off that dry chapped feeling seeps in. I have to apply lip balm after 4-5 hours.

I like the formula and finish of Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm. A velvety smooth finish and moisturizing formula. Both Striking & Audacious feel minty on lips initially. I like striking more since I am not a fan of orange shades.
