Faces Cocktail Peach Glam On Powder Blush Review Swatches Photo
Faces Canada has relaunched their powder blushes in new packaging. I really like it, it looks classy and chic. In fact I have heard really good things about blushes from this brand be it powder or cream formula. This is my first blush from Faces and I was really excited to it out.
Shade – Cocktail Peach is a beautiful peachy-coral blush. It has shimmers in there however upon application or swatch they don’t show up much, so even for someone like me who steers clear of shimmery blushes, can happily pull it off. This shade would look gorgeous on fair to medium skintones, dusky girls would have to layer it up.
Texture & Formula – Texture of Faces Cocktail Peach is silky, despite of the presence of shimmers. Shimmer is finely mille and adds to the satiny, soft formula of the blush. Blush applies nicely and blends evenly. It doesn’t look much shimmery and can be worn during the day, however I would suggest skipping highlighter while wearing this since it doubles up as a highlighter for the cheeks.
Pigmentation – Blush isn’t much pigmented and is sheer. I need to load up my blush for the color to show up on me. You can layer it up and it will look really beautiful and natural.
Staying Power – Faces Glam On Blush Cocktail Peach has a decent staying power and lasts for good 5 hours with some fading.
Overall Thoughts
If you are looking for a silky smooth formula and a beautiful peachy-coral blush for every day use. Cocktail Peach has shimmers but then they are finely milled and don’t show up much. Texture of the blush is soft & smooth and it applies evenly. It has a decent staying power of 4-5 hours. Only downside is the pigmentation, on me it needs to be layered up.
