#1, #3, #4 and #7 are taken by someone else with another camera. #8 a friend took it with my camera.

Today after already being 3 weeks in the US I'm posting my first one about my exchange year. Honestly I've taken so far just pictures in New York City, but probably I've to take some senior pictures. I had a five-day Orientation Camp from my exchange agency into in NYC with around 60 other exchange students.
The first day in New York City was honestly just a 5-hours-to-late arrival and just seeing NYC from sunset to dark night. Our flight had to do a little stop in Boston because there were a thunderstorm in Newark, so it couldn't land. At all we were all very tired and happy to fall asleep in the hostel.
The second day started at 7.30am and at 8.00am we went to breakfast. It was funny, because we, the Swiss, just hanged around together, so we were the six Swiss girls. At 9.00am we met again and around 10.00am we went with the subway to Columbus Circle and walked a bit along the Central Park. Then we came to the 5th Avenue and walked the street a bit along till we got to the Rockefeller Center, on which we went and it had a beautiful view over the whole city. So far my photos goes and the next post is still going to be about the first (second) day.

Heute nach schon 3 Wochen in den Staaten kommt endlich der erste Post über mein Austauschjahr, wo ich auch da bin. Ehrlich gesagt habe ich bis jetzt nur Fotos von NYC geschossen, aber ich müsste noch Senior Pictures schiessen... Ich hatte ein 5-tägiges Orientation Camp von meiner Organisation into in NYC mit ca. 60 anderen Austauschschülern.
Der erste Tag in NYC war eigentlich nur eine 5-Stunden-zu-späte Ankunft. Unser Flug musste einen Zwischenstop in Boston machen, da es ein Gewitter über Newark gab, somit konnte man nicht landen. Auf alle Fälle waren wir müde und froh endlich im Hostel schlafen zu können.
Der zweite Tag startete für mich um 7.30 Uhr und um 8.00 Uhr gingen wir frühstücken. Es war lustig, da wir sechs Schweizerinnen hauptsächlich die Zeit zusammen verbrachten. Um 10.00 Uhr ging es los mit der U-Bahn zum Columbus Circle wo wir dem Central Park etwas entlang liefen. Dann kamen wir zur 5th Avenue und danach zum Rockefeller Center, worauf wir gingen und eine unbeschreiblich schöne Aussicht über die ganze Stadt hatten. So weit gehen die Fotos heute und der nächste Post wird immer noch über den ersten (zweiten) Tag sein.
