Vitamins Rule....

I get asked a lot about my skin and how I maintain it on a daily basis. I have done a ton of posts on beauty products and how they have helped my skin stay soft and clear. While external beauty products are a definite must to keep a youthful glow.. what you put in your body can often times be more important than what you put on your body.
Our hair, skin and nails are a huge part of our every day routines..

Both men and women spent hours and hours a week maintaining, fixing, primping and just plain obsessing over all three. Lets face it.. when walking through this journey we call life first impressions are essential.. and what we often notice first is on the exterior.

Okay this is getting a bit long winded.. I swear there is a point..

What I am trying to say is that not only are creams, cleansers and serums essential.. but vitamins are crucial..

So I thought I would share with you the Vitamins that I have been taking for years..

Now here is the thing.. Not all supplements are created equal..

There are so many different varieties on the market that it can be quite overwhelming..

I tend to buy my supplements with one rule..

Vitamins that come from whole foods (not the grocery store.. but actual food) are always best..
Many vitamins on the market are synthetic and manufactured and the truth of the matter is that most times our bodies have no idea what to do with that ... so instead of absorbing the vitamins.. we just .. for lack of a better term.. pee them right out.. (sorry mom).

You ever take a pack of vitamins and then start to feel completely nauseous? That's because those vitamins are synthetic and must be taken with food. Supplements derived from whole food sources can be taken on an empty stomach because your body recognises them as food.

..You want vitamins that are slow absorbing and not made from synthetics. If you are unsure the best thing to do is ask. Ask the specialist working in the vitamin aisle of your local health food market.. ..or head over to a store that specializes in supplements. Otherwise you run the risk of wasting your time and hard earned cash.. because lets face it.. supplements are not cheap.

Here are some daily supplements that will help maintain your skin, hair, nails and life in general..
// !function(d,s,id){var e, p = /^http:/.test(d.location) ? 'http' : 'https';if(!d.getElementById(id)) {e = d.createElement(s);e.id = id;e.src = p '://' 'widgets.rewardstyle.com' '/js/lookbook.js';d.body.appendChild(e);}if(typeof(window.__lookbook) === 'object') if(d.readyState === 'complete') {window.__lookbook.init();}}(document, 'script', 'lookbook-script'); //
