valentine’s day favorites

I’ve been blessed with some pretty amazing Valentine’s days. My fiance is pretty wonderful and has done some really noteworthy things in the past. I’ve also had some fun valentine’s days with girlfriends watching movies, eating treats (Entemann’s Valentine’s Day cupcakes have always been a favorite), and drinking lots of wine.

Being a teacher has always made Valentine’s Day a little special as well. I loved watching the kids bring in little cards or goodies for each other. Last year, a parent of one of my kindergartners, made me an entire red velvet cake with beautiful fondant flowers as a gift. It was such a nice reminder that no matter your relationship with someone, Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse to do something loving and kind.

This will be my first Valentine’s Day as an engaged lady and I can’t wait to celebrate on Friday with my honey. No matter how you are celebrating, there’s something for everyone out there. Here are some of my Valentine’s Day favorites (mainly just cute little items in pink and red). xo
