His Secrets (Inside Out #3.1) & The Master Undone (Inside Out #3.3) by Lisa Renee Jones

What it's about
His Secrets (Inside Out #3.1)

An Inside Out story, Chris's POV

In a world where my only escape has been my art, Sara has been the light in my darkness. And there is darkness, the kind of inky black that can bleed from my life to hers.

She doesn't see it. She doesn't understand what I've shown her. And my biggest fear is that soon...she will.

3.5 stars!
This novella is told from Chris’s perspective, and although it is only 60 pages, it sheds light on the darkness that plagues him. We are introduced to a woman from his past. The guilt and responsibility that Chris feels towards this woman is tangible as we begin to understand where Chris comes from and choices that he has made in the past.
The one thing that permeates this novella is fear. Chris’s biggest fear is that when Sara finds out about his past that she will leave him. The biggest accomplishment that this novella makes is to confirm Sara’s commitment and love for Chris.
Inside/Out novellas continue to prove that they are worth reading, and His Secrets is no exception.

4 stars!
Short, spicy, and sinfully delicious, this novella gives us a much needed closer look at Mark Compton, and I hope to see MUCH more of this enigmatic dom. Mark has intrigued me since If I Were You, but after reading Being Me am completely head over heels for this man. In my opinion, he even manages to outshine Chris (whom I have well documented love for).

This is a VERY short novella that is written from Mark's perspective (and what a perspective it is!!!) We are introduced to Crystal who gives Mark more than he bargains for. I am very interested in this couple and hope that LRJ will bring Crystal's character into the next book. She just may be Mark's ideal match.
