Gift Guide: 12 Handmade Gift Ideas Everyone Will Love

Homemade gifts are my favorite gifts to give and receive! I believe nothing is more thoughtful than something that is made personally made. I’ve put together a roundup of 12 easy DIY gifts that are fun and easy to make and a pleasure to receive!

DIY Handmade Gift Ideas

1. Cookie Mix in a Jar

Everybody loves cookies, so here’s a delicious DIY gift everyone can enjoy. Simply add all the ingredients of cookie mis in a jar and pretty it up with some fabric and ribbon.

Here’s the recipe for these Cowgirl Cookies:

  • 1 1/3 cup all purpose flour, spooned into measuring cup & leveled
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cooking oats
  • 3/4 cup m&ms
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 – 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Then you’ll just need to add the dry ingredients!

  • 1 slightly beaten egg
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted slightly in the microwave)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Use the back of a large spoon to work it all together. You may even need to use your hands to get everything incorporated. See more on: Bakerella

3. DIY Charming Bookmarks

4. Homemade Flavored Vodka

Buy some inexpensive cork coasters and decorate them to your liking. Use a monogram stencil or doodle special message or quote. All you need is a Sharpie or any permanent marker.   • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup cocoa butter
  • 1/2 cup shea butter
  • 1/2 cup sweet almond oil
  • 1 tsp vitamin E oil
  • 5 – 10 drops peppermint essential oils
