Girly Gingham

I am a lucky girl! I have been banging about gingham for most of this year without actually buying much of it as I just hadn't been able to find what I was looking for. Step in Char and this lovely Laura Ashley number which unfortunately no longer fits her (YIPPEE!!) haha. Laura Ashley have bought this dress back this season in a lighter blue and a lovely pink but to be honest this navy one suits me best. It's a little long in the body for me so I am going to have to alter it to fit better, damn having no shoulders!

The skirt is wonderfully full, it feels so swishy to wear. And it has pockets, always a crowd pleaser. I probably should have ironed it before taking these photos, it got a bit crumpled from sitting on it all day but thankfully doesn't actually crease that easily. If you are contemplating buying one from these seasons collection it gets my thumbs up.
