New running shoes + a post run tradition

Happy Monday!! My favorite day of the week. I am so thankful for a fresh start because last week one was a little stressful.

Thankfully my sidekick Emily came for a quick visit. Her brand new Mizuno Wave Rider 18’s came in the mail right before she left. And yes, it made my day that we are now twinners times two.

I could not live with myself if she were to walk around in perfectly shiny, fresh out of the box kicks, so we hit up the trail for an easy run. Isn’t she the cutest thing ever!?

We made sure to stop to soak in the warm sunshine while listening to frogs in the pond. We are all about the simple things.

In other news, it’s finally looking like fall here! Apparently the beach does have seasons after all.

I walked by this spider web as the sun perfectly hit it. I’m not a huge fan of spiders, but I think it’s so pretty.

After our run we went for fresh juice. It’s kind of our little tradition.

Mission accomplished.
