Over the sale period I haven't been too thrilled with the what's currently in the shops so this is my first 'Lusting After' post in a while. Let's start off with River Island who I really think have stepped up their game recently. I absolutely loveeee this River Island high neck crop top paired with the cream PVC skirt and mule style heels. I always find River Island sizes really unpredictable so I'm reluctant to purchase any of this online and haven't seen the pieces in store yet. I love anything PVC at the moment and this high-shine mini skirt is sure to make a statement on a night out. I also think these mule style heels are very Kurt Geiger-esque and look much more expensive than £50.
Next up with Topshop is this amazing cage style bralet which is a little risqué for some occasions but could be worn underneath a sheer t-shirt for a more covered up look. I also really like Topshop's printed tops at the moment including this leaf print silk t-shirt and cropped monochrome floral print top. They are so easy to wear with some black skinny jeans or a high-waisted skirt and look very effortless but effective. I've tried to leaf print silk t-shirt on in store and I would definitely recommend sizing down as I find it to be quite oversized.
I'm on the hunt for the perfect 22nd birthday outfit at the moment and I would love to wear a jumpsuit that wasn't too long or unflattering. I really like this Miss Selfridge frill jumpsuit as I think the fitted shape would make it look more flattering and the frill across the bust would accentuate the waist. I'm not familiar with Miss Selfridge sizes and can't be bothered faffing around with refunds so I'll be waiting for this beauty to hit the stores. I also really love this Miss Selfridge playsuit for a more casual day time occasion. The fluted sleeve shape really caught my eye and I think this would look lovely with a fedora hat and some chunky style boots.
Last up we have a few accessories with this amazing Kate Spade statement necklace which is just to die for. I found it whilst browsing the Selfridge's jewellery section but I'm sure you could find alternative stockists or on the Kate Spade website. It's priced at £230 which is wayyyy out of my price range but it would make a lovely gift for somebody special. I'm also loving this Zara monochrome clutch bag as it's so simplistic and would be useful for nights out and dinner events. I always tend to lean towards larger clutch bags as I take so many bits and bobs with me on a night out so this would be perfect!
