The lovely folks at the Les Turner ALS Foundation have offered me an entry to the Strike Out ALS 5K at U.S. Cellular Field next month. I hear it’s a good race, so I’ve excited to check it out for myself! If you’d like to join me …

Race Time: 6:30pm
A brand new course with entertainment at each mile – featuring Chicago Spirit Brigade (um, they look awesome, how have I never heard of them and when are auditions????)
Awards for the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group
Post-Race party on the ChiSox Bar & Grill apron outside U.S. Cellular Field – enjoy $3 beers and a special discounted menu
Post-Race concert – featuring Daredevil Sunday
