Ode to my sister Isabelle

I have a love in my life since forever that is very special. Her name is Isabelle.

Although we live very far away these days, the sheer thought of her being in this world gives great comfort and courage and well….wings. Sometimes I think she knows me better than I know myself. She is the only person who can make me pee from laughter.
She moves me deeply in her honesty and relentless quest for truth. I am incredibly grateful to have her as my sister.
She is the “rainbow in my clouds” as Maya Angelou would say.

Today I am very excited and immensely proud to show her off to my world as she is also an amazingly talented author of travel books for children. My 2 and her 3 kids were the guinea pigs and inspiration for the Leap and Hop project. Thank you Isa for those smart, engaging books. They are truly travel companions.
