SKICKS – a new line of original, unique college inspired sneakers. This sporty and fun line of officially licensed high top and low top sneakers will be available for purchase at college campuses and retailers across the country, and will include each university’s logo and mascot

Created by University of Michigan student and young entrepreneur Jordana Schrager, SKICKS embodies the ‘sole’ of every sports fan. Schrager, who has always been interested in art and design, doodled elaborate college designs on a pair of old sneakers. After numerous students approached her for a custom pair, SKICKS was born. Much like she dreamed, SKICKS is a welcomed addition to the enormous collegiate market.

SKICKS retail for between $59.99 and $69.99 and are available for purchase at www.skicks.com, and at select retailers, fan shops, and university bookstores at the following schools: Auburn University, Florida State University, Indiana University, Michigan State University, Penn State University, Syracuse University, University of Georgia, University of Miami, University of Michigan and University of Tennessee, with many more to come.
I got to sit down and ask the very busy and pretty Jordana Schrager a few things about herself. She is as colorful as her sneakers!!!!

What in light of your experience in life, should we not waste time on or worry about?

I don’t spend time worrying about the negatives. I always focus on the positives in life.

What is the task you like to do best in your work? I love creating the designs that go on the SKICKS sneakers.

What’s your super power?

Organization. Getting tasks done very quickly and efficiently. I never procrastinate.

How do you celebrate?

I celebrate by going out to dinner with my family and friends

How do you learn?

I am a visual learner.

How do you prepare to do something?

I am very organized when preparing to do something. I always make lists!
