Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation‘s Kids 4 Kids Family Festival is coming to Chelsea Piers Saturday, September 27 at 3 pm
. Since 1993, Kids 4 Kids has been one of New York’s top events for kids and families and this year is no different. This year, families will enjoy gourmet food, dance and yoga instruction, dancing, art, and appearances by celebrities and athletes committed to a world where no child has AIDS, including event chair, Nigel Barker.

Popular Family-Friendly Festival Benefits the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation
New York, NY – The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) announces fun family activities, celebrity host committee guests, and restaurant row participants for its Kids 4 Kids family festival taking place on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at the Field House at Chelsea Piers.
Guests at Kids 4 Kids can practice their plié in first position with Boston Ballet dancer Kathryn Boren, try new poses withyoga instructor Tara Stiles, express themselves with artist Shantell Martin, get their hearts pumping with Kirk Myers Fitness, learn while having fun with interactive games from Disney, boogie with DJ Scratch Academy, and get creative with retailer Skip Hop. Guests can also enjoy a variety of the on-site sports activities the Chelsea Field House has to offer.
Families can also dine on food from some of the city’s favorite restaurants and chefs: caterer Abigail Kirsh, Michael’s,Otto Enoteca Pizzeria, Pain D’Avignon, Sofia Wine Bar, Luke’s Lobster, The Chester, Grandaisy Bakery and (The Mercer) Kitchen.
The Kids 4 Kids family festival is co-chaired by world-renowned photographer and EGPAF board member Nigel Barker and his wife Cristen. Celebrity host committee members attending include fashion designer Cynthia Rowley, actor Boris Kodjoe, Olympic swimmer Matt Targett, and actress and EGPAF celebrity ambassador Fatima Ptacek.
Other celebrity guests include “Orange is the New Black” cast members Joel Garland, Jessica Pimentel, Michael Harney, and Yael Stone, as well as “Real Housewives of New York” Kelly Bensimon and Kristen Taekman.
The New York Observer has joined as the event’s exclusive media sponsor.
Kids 4 Kids has raised more than $26 million since 1993, and EGPAF is excited to re-launch this signature event for families this fall. Kids 4 Kids is an opportunity for parents and kids to enjoy gourmet food, arts and crafts, games, sports, music, and meet athletes and celebrities who are working towards a world where no child has AIDS.
