What I Wore // Cloudy-day Yoga + an Albion Fit Giveaway

Happy Tuesday my people! I took last weekend off for a little extra family time and house work in preparation for some company that arrived here yesterday, so we have an extra fun week ahead! I've been anxious to share this fun shoot with you guys though and share a bit about my experience with Yoga.
Yoga is something that I've loved to do ever since I can remember. I grew up going to classes with my mom in middle-school and I got to where I was pretty great at it in high-school! It was always a way to start the day refreshed or to wind-down in the evenings, and I loved seeing my flexibility increase every day. Since I've gotten married though, I've seemed to do it really well for a while and then take a break for the next little while without meaning too. I blame it on the different issues I've had with me pregnancies, but right now is one of those times where I've taken a big break and I'm working at getting back into a regular routine again!
Yoga is such an amazing practice that pretty much anyone can do no matter their age or body shape or state of their health. It's one of the only exercises that I'll do throughout my whole pregnancy! There are definitely different levels of skill for sure, but even at the beginner level you're left feeling refreshed and strengthened, body and mind. I've never met anyone who took yoga that hated it, because if you're uncomfortable with a certain pose or something like that, you can just adjust your positioning so you're more comfortable. I follow a lot of Yoga boards on Pinterest and I love collecting poses that I hope to be able to achieve some day when my flexibility is better!
Weather I'm doing Yoga in a class setting, or on the edge of a cliff by myself *grin*, once I'm done I always feel like I've gotten a message.haha but seriously! My whole body is warm and humming, and I feel so peaceful and relaxed. Even just doing a short routine (anywhere and everywhere because you don't need any equipment!) always brings a calming influence with it, and I'm able to better get in touch with deep feelings and positive thoughts. I'm so grateful for the foundation I have in Yoga even though I fall out of practice often, and I'm going to set new challenges for myself every week going forward!

Changing topics a bit now, you guys know I have a great love for Albion Fit clothing since I've posted several times on here about them in the past, and today I'm sharing my favorite workout pieces that I love especially for doing Yoga! I do wear more billowy shirts and shorts/pants for doing weights in sometimes, but for Yoga especially you need fitted pieces that feel almost like a second skin. These don't chafe, they're not restricting, they don't get overheated, the top doesn't come down over your face when doing down-dog and show off your bra to the whole class.haha They're incredibly soft and flexible, and they're very well priced for quality that's going to last! Now that I've sold you on them:) I'm teaming up with Albion Fit to give you and a friend EACH a pair of my favorite petal pants! Here's how it works:
1. Head on over to my instagram here and make sure you follow,
2. click through to Albion Fit's Instagram and follow them as well,
3. leave a comment on the giveaway image posted on my account tagging a friend!
also as a bonus entry you can leave a comment here with a link to your favorite item from Albion Fit!

A week from today the giveaway will conclude and the winner and the friend they tagged will each receive a pair of petal pants in their size! Also in case you can't wait, as another treat for you guys Albion Fit is offering an exclusive discount for my readers for 15% off your purchase now through September 1st! Just enter the code: fox15 at checkout and you're good to go!
Well that's it for today, but I hope that my sharing a few things I love about Yoga has maybe motivated you a bit to either give it a try for the first time or get back into about it, and if you'd like to comment here for the giveaway I would love to hear your favorite thing about doing yoga if you already love it, or if you're going to give it a try, or any other thoughts you may have, particularly about yoga! haha Thanks as always for reading today, and I hope to see you again tomorrow! Good luck with the giveaway my friends!
