SHOPPING: PRADA NEXT

After a first series released last spring, Prada just launched five new colorways of their iconoclast Prada Next. While they might look at first as a departure from the classic Prada sneaker, the Next is a continuation of Muccia Prada’s obsession for architecture, industrial design and technical materials. Behind the chunky features lay a desire to reconcile classic footwear with contemporary features mixing rubber and mesh with Prada’s iconic Nevada calf and Brushed calf usually used for their formal collections.
