Named A Top 10 DIY Blog by Better Homes & Gardens! (and other news)

I’ve finally gotten settled back in this weekend after three weeks of slightly hectic traveling and I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to be in my own bed! I love venturing to new places, but I’m realizing more and more that at the end of the day I’m kind of a homebody if that makes any sense at all.

I’ve also realized that I’m completely terrible at trying to multi-task while I’m out of town. Am I the only one with this downfall? For those of you world travelers that manage to stay in touch and on top of your inboxes or to-do lists while you’re gone, my hat is off to you! I slaved over project posts to share here and there while I was gone and I managed to post them pretty well the first week and then I might as well have been lost at sea ever since then. I’m hoping my charm and embarrassing jokes serve me well in trying to recoup…

More importantly, I have a whole slew of things to fill you in on! I’ll be spilling the beans little by little, but first, I’m super excited for Sugar & Cloth to have been named a Top 10 DIY blog by Better Homes & Gardens! Let me just tell you that I definitely did not see that one coming when I started this little blog two years ago. It’s kind of funny how those things happen, and it seems to always be right when you need a pick-me-up. I love those moments!
