diy painted bead necklace

This DIY necklace is a great way to try out Spring's hottest trend- pastels!
Supplies-
  • Wooden beads (small and large sizes)
  • Acrylic paint & paintbrush
  • Leather cord

(Cut pieces of thin cardboard into strips. Use these to prop up the beads when you paint. Paint the beads white first. This will make the colors pop)

(Paint the beads different colors and let dry)

(Here's the first batch of beads. I gave them coats of paints to make the color vibrant)

(String the beads on the leather cord- the necklace should measure 30 inches)

(To finish the necklace off make a double knot and knot on beads at the end)
