Every time I go to a thrift store I stock up on leather clothing. I love repurposing the out of date styles into new things like handbags and dresses. I'm frequently left with small scraps of leather that are perfect for jewelry projects. I cut the leather into feather shapes to give it movement. These earrings are a breeze to make!
Supplies-
- Leather
- Earring hooks
- Jump rings
- Jewelry pliers
- Chain (2 chains- each 4 1/2 inches long)
(Attach the chain to the earring using a jump ring)
(Cut out 12 leather leaves- 6 for each earring. Cut slits at the bottom of the feather to make it fan out)
(Make a hole at the top of the feather using a thumbtack and insert a jump ring. Attach the jump ring to the chain)
(Attach the other 5 feathers to the chain. Repeat steps for other earring)
