Organic Surge Orange Flower Toner

This is one of the only products I’ve tried from Organic Surge that don’t like. There are plenty that I’d happily use but wouldn’t buy again, a few I absolutely love but no others that I can think of that I really didn’t get along with.. but I just couldn’t make this work for me. First of all the name suggests it will smell citrusy, and fresh – it smells like antiseptic to me, secondly I thought it would be a nice refreshing step after cleansing or just to wipe away any residue before applying makeup etc.. it didn’t feel refreshing at all, it felt sticky and odd. My main gripe with this toner was that gentle as I’m sure it is I’m fairly certain it caused me to break out as my skin had been behaving for MONTHS and this was the only thing I changed in my routine. I just don’t get it, I’ve read other reviews and nobody else seems to have had anything but glowing things to say about it.. maybe I got a dud?! I just don’t love it but I will be passing it on to one of my friends and if they feel totally differently about it then you can expect an update!
