NEW IN: Lipstick Love

Since it’s National Lipstick Day I thought I’d share some of the more recent tubes that have arrived at my door. They couldn’t be more different but I have a little love for each of them.

Coral Cloak is a shade I will likely wear sheer or topped with a gloss, a little OTT orange for my skintone but since trying the trend HERE I’ve been enjoying playing with a brighter pout. Stranger Danger is right up my alley at the moment, I’ve been really enjoying lavenders and purples on my lips with my currently uber blonde hair, I love the contrast and it’s a little edgy compared to the colours I usually reach for. Luscisous is much more in my comfort zone, I live in mid-tone pinks, they’re ‘safe’ and go with everything. This one it a little love hate, I really like the colour and the IDEA that it’s matte but the formula is just not there for me. It feels (and SMELLS) waxy – not my favourite but I love the shade. Lastly the funkiest looking of the bunch, Heart Attack. Part of Revolutions I Heart Makeup range, it’s super cute in both design and colour. The shaped bullet is a little tricky to work with at first but once you get the hang of it it’s just like any other and the glossy pop of red makes it my pick of the bunch.
