MAC Kelly O Lipsticks

I picked these lipsticks up from the recent MAC Osbourne collection and bar the lavender which I KNEW I could never pull off they were really all I wanted so I was pretty pleased I managed to snag them before they sold out. Kelly-Yum-Yum has been a fan favourite and one I’ve worn a lot since purchasing but Riot House.. I just don’t know who this could looks good on. I am not defeated just yet, I really want to make it work but.. seriously.

In hindsight the crazy lavender is looking more and more wearable all the time. Riot House is almost a muted neon peach.. totally bizarre whereas Kelly Yum-Yum is a slightly warmer toned version of the very popular Candy Yum-Yum.

I think in future I will try this sheered out or with a gloss and I definitely need more makeup. It’s not something that will work with a more natural looks as above.. I’m thinking full coverage foundation, high impact eyes and lashes and then MAYBE I might be able to work with it.. watch this space.

Cooled toned pinks aren’t really my thing and although it’s really quite a subtle change from the original this is definitely more my kind of colour. Still super POW, bright but I manage to find occasions to wear it. More of a summer pink for me though so it may be relegated to the drawer for the coming season.

Did you pick up anything from Kelly/Sharon O collection? Are you excited for any coming up? I was so excited about the Marge Simpson collection but seriously? No lipsticks? WTF MAC?!
