Talent Crush: Delilah Duong
Yes, this is a drawing of me. I personally love it because I definitely isn't as cute as I am in this picture (but hey, it's art). Thanks to the talented Delilah Duong on dancinginmyawkwardarms, I have this gorgeous illustration of me. I know I haven't been doing any feature or interview kind of posts for quite a long time, that is, because I haven't had time to find the right person/brand yet. But here it is, I found the lovely Delilah, and I asked her some questions so you could know more about her.
At what age you started illustrating? Why did you start fashion illustrating? I've been drawing since forever, but only started drawing illustration since I created my blog. Because I always want to draw something beautiful, and I have a huge interest in fashion. I think fashion is almost the most beautiful thing given on this earth.
Where do you usually get inspirations from? I go on Vogue saving every single collection, I look at fashion editorial a lot, and I check my tumblr, usually.
What is fashion to you? What's your style? Being confident and feeling beautiful and comfortable when you wear a piece of clothing. But actually my style is more like just a lazy girl. I'm often go to school wearing T-shirts (I'm a sucker for Tees), maxi skirt, a big sized bag to carry all the magazine as well as drawing stuffs, and converse because sometimes I have to walk to 6th floor.
