Finally, Polka Dots I Actually Love

It’s been a minute since the last ootd but boy do we have a lot to catch up on. Fashion Week kind of wore me out and while I know you’ve seen every recap there is to see I have a few more starting with these polka dot pants that kicked it all off for me.

I know you’re over Fashion Week. Hell, so am I, but I have a bunch of photos, #ootd post and I gotta do something with that content. Plus it’s my site and I’ll do what I want to do. Lol . SMILE.
I’m not a big fan of polka dot. I don’t despise them or anything, I’m just not all gaga over them like most. I can count the number of them in in my kloset and then these pants happened and now I’m all googly eyed over them like everyone else. The pink base, mixed with the gold and black dots are such a great mix and compliment to my kloset. LOVE. Oh and the wide leg cut! Normally I stay away from that cut because I could like short and stout but these just work. I’ve been holding on to them for a while now; 1. for the perfect top (peep the circle cutout on the side of this top) and 2. for fashion week. I wore this look to kick off the week at one of my favorite events of the season the Harlem’s Fashion Row Editor’s Luncheon (more on that later) highlighting their designers of the season. They were definitely spot on.
