At my age, if I embrace the masculine look too much, it stops looking cute and I just look like a middle age woman that has lost her mirror and wants to dressed comfortably. I can say this because I am *gulp* middle aged
How to wear masculine clothes and still look like a lady
- Pick clothing that is more like sexy 20/30 year old guy not a teenage boy’s wardrobe and not your dad’s either. Think business shirts after a long day in the office. Crumpled and comfortable
- Roll up baggy loose fitting clothes to show off feminine ankles and wrists. Skin is sexy
- If you are wear baggy on top and baggy on the bottom, find a way to create some shape. Tuck in a corner of your shirt, throw on a belt, or my favourite, tie a shirt around your waist
- Put effort into your hair and makeup, the juxtaposition of the masculine clothes and feminine hair or makeup is striking
- Undo a button or two and let a lacy bra peek out. Nothing screams I’m a woman like ‘accidentally’ flaunting your assets
- Wear simple jewellery. I find statement necklaces work against it, and I love a simple, delicate necklace or a slightly masculine watch
- Add a statement shoe, this could be something like brogues, a stiletto or a wedge.
- Wear your favourite scent. No-one could mistake you for a bloke when you smell like a combination of roses, jasmine and the night sky.
- Remember, under the masculine clothes, you are still a hot women. Move those hips, flick the hair and remember to sit like a lady :). Hahaha *burp*
