Daily Style: Blue leather boots

I know why Elvis sung about his blue suede shoes….because they went with everything. When I first contemplated these blue leather boots and knew I loved them but I wasn’t sure they would get decent Cost-per-wear and I’m all about getting great Cost-per-wear. I mean they are blue…backless…peeptoe boots. On paper you sort of say “huh” but in person you say “Hell Yeah!”

Daily Style: Blue leather boots

Shoes with a little colour and personality are great for perking up a simple outfit. For example, I’m wearing a very simple, comfortable grey Slouchy dress (currently on sale at Bohemian Traders for $49) and threw on the blue boots. The outfit was almost there but not quite. I could have added a scarf or a necklace but decided on the BT Chambray Shirt (also on sale for $59) around the waist to bring the colours together and contain my arse. Perfect!
