Where I See Fashion (Sparkles and Shoes)

A big, big thank you to Chapter Friday for introducing me to the amazing Tumblr called Where I See Fashion. This amazing account merges two of my favorite things, high fashion and art, both of which I appreciate from a distance! It has been around in just over a year and since then there have been 189 on-point matches, juxtaposing fashion photographs, everything from catalog and editorial to runway and makeup, with different pieces of art.

The account and all of the collaborations are are created by Bianca Luini, a fashion design student living in Milan who says she only uses Photoshop on the art photos to get the right color match. She also has a person blog which you can find here. Back to the point at hand though, this W I S F Tumblr is amazing and Sunday I looked at the almost 200 matches and here are 11 of my favorite compilations:
