My Aquaphor Obsession

It is true, I am obsessed with Aquaphor, in fact, I have tubs of it. Not the cute, little purse size ones nor the normal size triangular tubes the actual 14 oz tubs. Why? They are much more economical – the cost per ounce is a fraction of the smaller ones. One of my coworkers said, well, how do you dip your finger in it and get just the right amount for you lips? Truth be told? I don’t. I used to wipe the excess off on a tissue but after reading this article from Refinery 29 I now rub the excess in to my cuticles and they look better than ever!

I have a jar of Aquaphor – to be specific Aquaphor Advanced Therapy Healing Ointment – in every place I spend a lot of time – work, my apartment, my parent’s house, ect. Plus, I never am tempted to take the one off my desk and throw it in my purse as a sub for lip gloss!

My love for the product was actually my 26th post back in September 2012 and my feelings have not changed. In case you missed that post I will give you the Reader’s Digest version, Aquaphor is mainly petroleum jelly with a little Aloe and other beneficial ingredients. I have been obsessed for the past ten years and am not showing any signs of stopping. I do have to say though, after half a dozen failed attempts the CVS or Duane Reade version, even if it is exactly the same ingredients, isn’t quite the same!

Now that the cold weather has set in I am using it more than ever!

Thank you, Eucerin, for making a great product!
