CHAT IN A CHAIR INSTA-CHALLENGE: DRUM ROLL PLEASE….

What a week! We were beyond thrilled by the way that you lovely Instagrammers took hold of this challenge by both horns and we were enthralled to the point of addiction by your posts. They were wonderful – every image entered was gorgeous, and thoughtful and we loved reading the stories that you posted to accompany each image. It was such an amazing week of “virtual community” action, and we have loved getting to know all of you and your special chairs. Please believe us when we say that trying to judge this competition was just short of impossible. It took Megan Morton and the whole Arent&Pyke team several days to decide.

But, what you probably really want to know is who exactly won the yellow Le Corbusier, right?? Well, without further ado….

We so loved Fi Richardson’s week of chairs and her outstanding creative thinking. Clearly, Fi has a considered aesthetic and we enjoyed seeing how she interpreted each day’s theme. What made Fi’s entries stand out in the gallery of thousands was her consistency of both styling and palette which kept all of her images connected across the 5 days of play. Her images evoke a mood and a sense of time which we thoroughly appreciated. Fi – you have excelled yourself and you are a worthy winner! Please enjoy your very special new chair.
