Pop Of Neon

Hey guys! It's been awhile since I've had a chance to update and I'm so excited I finally am! I also have quite a few more posts in store for the Month of February so stay tuned for those! About time I stop slacking off. I've been so busy with the holidays and family life. I've also been poshing it up on PoshMark. If you haven't had a chance to shop my closet please do! I am having a blast on there and actually have the opportunity to host my own virtual posh party tomorrow! I am totally geeked about that. If you have not downloaded the app, please do, or you can also shop from your desktop!

Now on to my outfit. I've been having the blues lately with all this Winter weather. Or maybe I should say the Navy Blues, Blacks, and Greys. I was excited for it but now I've had enough. I'm ready to brighten it up with some color for Spring and Summer. I decided, why wait? Who said you have to wait until winter is over to rock some neon?

With a more casual ensemble like this, it is always best to give it some character with accessories. The most simple jean and tee outfit can be transformed into something so fashion forward with just the right accessories. I chose this Gold Spike Necklace from Forever21 to keep it kinda edgy.

Here are today's accessories. Mix up the simple black clutch by choosing something texturized or a snake print. The texture is a lot more appealing to the eye. A black clutch is definitely a closet staple. This one is a bargain from Forever 21, however, I wouldn't mind spending more on an item like this because it's something than can be used over and over, in so many different ways. My chain wrap bracelet was a Christmas gift from one of my friends. It is from C Wonder. They have a lot of really nice accessories. If you haven't shopped C Wonder yet, I certainly recommend.

A shoe can most definitely, make the outfit. With this type of otherwise, casual ensemble, they definitely do. You can go from day to night by just switching from a casual sneaker or flat, to a pump or single sole strappy sandal. Now, I love platforms and pumps as much as the next girl but, I have recently seen the light when it comes to single soled heels. We have all been seeing them everywhere with every major designer. There is something very natural and feminine about a woman in a single sole heel rather than a platform. When you want to add some sex appeal to an outfit, try reaching for the single sole heel rather than that overly sexy platform. You might be surprised with how much you like it.

When it comes to neon, a nice pop is all you need. No need to overdo it with neon everything. I absolutely love these jeans. I purchased them last year from PacSun so, unfortunaetly they're no longer available but, I have put together a few similar options for you guys. Here are my other top picks!

A leather jacket is another great staple piece. I got this jacket from Bebe and have another similar one from Express. I would definitely be willing to spend more on a piece like this because you'll get so much wear out of it. It is such an effortless way to make an outfit look completely put together.

Thanks so much for reading guys! Please leave any comments or questions xoxoxoxoxo
