Green Veggie Flatbread Pizza

Oh, hello. Just your friendly Food and the City family being your bad influence for the day. But not only are we your bad influence for the day that now has you craving pizza, we're your bad influence that is going to justify the decision to eat pizza.
Because we're smothering it in vegetables.

The pizza, that is. Not your decision.

Green Veggie Flatbread Pizza
1 whole grain flatbread 3 slices of fresh mozzarella (or 1/2 cup shredded) 1 teaspoon olive oil 2-4 cloves of garlic, depending on your garlic tolerance 4-5 cooked asparagus spears 1/2 cup cooked broccoli florets 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1 tablespoon basil ribbons
Preheat your oven to 400. Mince up your garlic, and combined it with your olive oil. Line a baking sheet with foil or spray it with some cooking spray, and place your flatbread on top. Spread garlic mixture onto your flatbread then continue with the rest of your toppings. Reserve basil ribbons for after cooking.
Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and slightly bubbly. Top with basil and enjoy!
Note: This is a great way to use up leftover vegetables from last nights dinner! Feel free to use any veggies of choice!
