Designer-Spotlight: Rosie Assoulins Sommerkollektion 2015

Leuchtendes Rot, Zitronengelb und sattes Grün, geraffte Stoffe, Asymmetrie, Bast und riesige Hüte mit breiter Krempe: Die Sommerkollektion 2015 von Rosie Assoulin sticht heraus und ist das feinste Manrepeller-Material! Kein Wunder, dass Leandra Medine eine der grossen Unterstützerinnen der gleichnamigen Designerin ist.

Für unser Designer-Spotlight werfen wir einen Blick auf das noch junge Label. Nachdem die Designerin aus Brooklyn unter anderem bei Oscar de la Renta und Lanvin gearbeitet hat, legt sie nun richtig los und präsentierte ihre Entwürfe innerhalb der New York Fashion Week in einem Schulgebäude.

She’s beauty! She’s grace! She’s — I know — a really close friend of mine. But that doesn’t detract from Rosie Assoulin‘s incredible talent and her dexterity to put clothes on a woman and make her feel like the most special human in the room/world.

Schade bloss, dass sich ihre Designs längst nicht mehr im Contemporary-Feld bewegen – preistechnisch ist das Ganze im oberen Luxussegment angesiedelt! Gibt’s u.a. bei Farfetch zu kaufen.

Für die Zukunft sollten wir uns Rosies Namen jedoch merken. Gut möglich, dass sie einen kometenhaften Aufstieg wie einst The Row haben wird. Die Entwürfe beweisen es:
