North West Doesn't Wear Designer Clothes, Says Kim Kardashian

Remember all of those images Kim Kardashian posted of the outfits designers sent from North West? Well, apparently, the eight month old baby doesn’t wear any of it.

Talking to People magazine, the first time mum said that, ‘North has actually not worn anything designer yet!” She continues: “Kids get dirty. She’ll spit up. She moves around so much. I saw this one cute dress that was $500 and I was like, ‘Absolutely not!’ I just want her in little onesies or leggings.”

Now you know she’s really serious because I mean, $400 on a dress, totally fine, but $500, absolutely not. In fact, despite all of the gifts North was sent, she says that much of her wardrobe consists of hand me down pieces from Kourtney’s daughter Penelope.

Without digging to deep into it, my suspicion is that these comments are a bid to quieten the critics who were quick to comment about the Instagram images of all of the free designer swag. Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s deliberately trying to distance herself from endorsing designer childrenswear, particularly since she’s just launched a new affordable line, Kardashian Kids because as we all know by now, there’s always a PR spin with those Kardashians.
