Casual Friday

Sorry I skipped a blog post yesterday! I’m not ahead on posts at all and have so many other things going on…so I decided it was more important to get some sleep last night. I’m so glad we have a three day weekend coming up! Thank you to everyone who weighed in on my wish list post…I think we’re going to get the grey bed. Fingers crossed that Target has a coupon code or puts the bed on extra-sale for Labor Day! Speaking of which, what are you all doing this weekend? Something fun, I hope. I luuurved all the gallery walls in this post. I’m planning to redo ours sometime soon, so I’ve been noticing gallery walls everywhere!

This backyard picnic for two is soooo pretty. I’m coveting the geometric wood candleholders and that awesome tablecloth.

YUM. This zesty blueberry pie looks amazing, doesn’t it?

I totally identify with this post about house dreaming. Siggghhh.

I still don’t think I’d do an all-white room in my own house, but I’m always drawn to them. This one, posted on Simply Grove, is pretty compelling. And I love that black Himmeli sculpture (I still need to DIY one of those!)

Last but not least, I adore this stacked plywood bench on Vintage Revivials. It turned out so well! I really want to make something using this stacked plywood method. Maybe a console table for behind our sofa? A bench for the foot of our bed? Something.
