As each month ends, I’ll share 5 of my favorite products from that month. Think of these posts as recommendations of a handful of great beauty items!
Here are my favorites from January:
1:
Lush Scent in Rose Jam: This perfume is absolutely delicious and decadent. It’s a sweet, rich rose scent and it lingers all day. Unfortunately, it was limited edition and doesn’t appear to be for sale on the Lush website anymore. Hopefully, it returns soon!
2:
Davines Oi/Oil Absolute Beautifying Potion: I haven’t had a haircut since July (Eek! I know!), so my ends are quite dry and knotty. Luckily, this hair oil replenished my ends, gave it much needed moisture and brought life back to my curls. I adore it, but it’s a bit pricey at about $40 for the full-size. Though, I loved it so much that I might purchase the full-size soon.
3:
Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream: This winter has been brutal and my cuticles have certainly taken a hit. I adore this cuticle cream because it smells zesty and fresh and spruces up my cuticles without feeling too slick or greasy.
4:
Revlon Brilliant Strength Nail Enamel in Enthrall: I wore this nail polish so much in January. It’s a gorgeous duo chrome nail polish that shifts from black to a golden green. Plus, it’s so easy to apply and lasts for days and days.
5:
Covergirl Classic Color Blush in Soft Mink: After I read this
post by Sarah Conley of Style It, I went on a hunt for the Covergirl blush she mentions in her post. Unfortunately, I still haven’t found that specific shade at a local drugstore, but I did discover this gorgeous blush in Soft Mink. This blush has a buttery smooth formula and it lasts all day and the shade just compliments my skin tone so well.
This month, I discovered (and rediscovered) some fabulous beauty products. I also experienced the same in music. I thought it would be fun to share seven songs I loved in January, in case you’re looking for new tunes.
