i smell the holidays and it's lovely

the holidays are here in lightning speed! its already time for delicate string lights to go up, mad people shopping for 27 days, wrapping paper everywhere and mistle toes arising at every door entrance. the holidays are such a warm time, where everyone is a bit more friendlier and helpful. it's a time where the community comes together and expresses a bit more happiness than any other time of the year. since its the early part of december, now is the time for christmas tree picking to add to your home. your mission of tree picking is finding the perfect tree while enjoying yourself and the company that joins you. better than the smell of pine needles being introduced to your living space for a month?

for this special holiday event, I'm wearing my lululemon leggings with a basic thermal henley from urban outfitters. I'm layering my look with a vest & over the knee socks that i found at Ross for such a great deal ($15 for the collective pair)! i know right? such a steal!
since it was a bit chilly, i decided to pull out my brown vince camuto knee boots to help sum up the whole outfit. with the holiday season now here, its super easy to wear comfortable clothes everyday and still look dressed up. there are so many sweaters and high knee socks that carry different winter patterns and when you pair those with a piece of jewelry (doesn't matter how bold or delicate), your all set! thats why i love the winter, i can layer & be cozy while still looking cute and stylish.
