Cult Nails Casual Elegance Collection
Hey dolls! I know a lot of you wanted to see photos of the Cult Nails Casual Elegance collection before pre-sales start tonight at 12:00a est, so here they are! This mini LE collection consists of the three shades of varying finishes, all in the purple family.
Cult Nails Casual Elegance is described as a soft, pale purple creme that covers in one coat. This description is spot on! The formula was thick, but in a good way. It applied very easily and self-leveled nicely in one coat. Depending on the light, the purple or blue undertones of Casual Elegance stand out more.
Cult Nails Winter’s Light is described as blue and purple micro glitters in a jelly purple base. This polish can be worn alone or layered over a complimentary base. The formula was easy to apply, but I would recommend waiting a few minutes in between coats to prevent dragging. Winter’s Light dries to a slightly satin, gritty finish so top coat was applied. Three coats were used for opacity.
Next, I applied one coat of Winter’s Light over Casual Elegance. This photo allows you to see more of the blue undertones in Casual Elegance.
Winter’s Light is very versatile, so I wanted to show it over a few others from the Cult. Here it is over Flushed, Casual Elegance, Love at First Sight, and Tempest (index to pinky).
Cult Nails Intriguing is described as a soft periwinkle with a light holographic effect. This shade is perfect for subtle holo lovers like me! The formula was amazing and applied evenly in two coats. I wish it wasn’t so cloudy here earlier today so I could have taken a few sunlight pictures. The holo is not nearly as strong on the nail as it appears in the bottle, but that’s fine with me.
I really like the Cult Nails Casual Elegance collection! Each shade is unique to my stash and I can’t get over the amazing one coat formula of the collection namesake. The Casual Elegance collection will be available during pre-sale for $24.00, which begins tonight, March 19 at 12a est through April 2.
