Twinsie Tuesday ~ Stripes ~ Negative Space Mani
Hey dolls! I’m finally back home after a week in Louisiana. We had a great vacation, but I was definitely exhausted and ready to return by the end. Hopefully I’ll be back to a regular blogging schedule soon. The Twinsie Tuesday theme for today was stripes. I decided to try out a negative space mani. I’ve admired this look on so many other bloggers, especially fellow Twinsie Stephanie from A Little Polish.
I gave my nails a little cleaning using Bubble White to remove the stains before starting this look. Striping tape was applied on the bare nail in a random design and then I added two coats of Scofflaw Blind Tiger, a bright orange with gold glass flecks (review coming soon). Top coat was applied to complete the negative space look.
Ehhh, I love the polish, but I’m not sure about the negative space. Maybe my nails are just too stained for it. The camera definitely shows all of the imperfections. Or maybe I’m not thrilled with the design. What are your thoughts on this look? Be sure to check out the looks from the other Twinsies below!
