Style Spotlight: Alexa Chung

In honor of her third consecutive Style Icon award at the British Fashion Awards, I've gathered some of my favorite looks of this iconic model, TV personality and journalist. How does this cat-eyed beauty do it?!
"There was a time when I started thinking about (my style) too much & it got weird but now I just dress to please myself. The main point is I'm still excited by clothes & excited by fashion. It's innately something I'm drawn to so I literally can't walk down the street without dodging into places, which annoys my friends," she told Grazia Daily UK.

For this past British Fashion Awards, Chung opted for a black Simone Rocha ensemble.
"This time round, it was a bit of a nightmare. Ordinarily, I'm quite decisive. I look on Style.com & pick things & if they let me, then I borrow it. Other times, it turns into a bit of a disaster in terms of trying to match a shoe... But it's just clothes so it's fine. It's not the end of the world," she says of her trying to choose what to wear to the awards.
However, it was really the Christopher Kane dress that she wore to the British Fashion Awards in 2011 that she considers her favorite outfit "because it was really sparkly, but kept getting caught in
everything."

Still, it isn't Chung's red carpet looks that get her noticed! It's her day-to-day outfits that make her the world-wide trendsetter that she is. She always gets it right, even with her unkempt hair and mismatched outfits.

Alexa loves to glam up her denim!

This ultimate style muse was a hipster before it was cool to be a hipster. So what is her stance on this new fad? "My tip is to not be one anymore because I think it's a bit commercial to be a hipster now... so then just turn commercial! That's the ultimate hipster you can be."
